Be safe; stay alive or uninjured on
your motorcycle
Motorcycle accidents have steadily
increased over the past decade. Motorcycle fatalities in 2011 have increased to
more than seven percent per vehicle mile traveled; motorcyclists are more than
38 times more likely than passenger car occupants to die in a motor vehicle
crash and ten times more likely to be injured.
Sadly danger awaits those who are unprepared.
Crash scenarios repeat themselves time after time as riders throughout the US
face similar hazards:
·
Slippery surfaces
·
Rough surfaces
·
Confidence
·
Communication
·
Changing weather
·
Traffic
·
Running wide in a corner
·
Passing/Overtaking
·
Rear-end stopping in traffic
·
Group riding
Riding a motorcycle is an enormous amount fun,
whether riding solo or in a group, but motorcyclists are constantly posed with
their own set of challenges.
Accidents are caused by people and not the
motorcycle.
Twist and Hold in conjunction with 2020 Racing Academy will be running one day clinics/schools throughout
the US, which will elevate your motorcycle skills, safety, proficiency,
expertise and dexterity by tutoring and coaching the art of motorcycle riding incorporating
safety methods used in dirt-bike riding, road-bike riding and track-bike riding.
The clinics welcome and embrace all female, male and beginner riders.
The clinics will cost $250.00 per day which
will include the use of Honda CRF 150F off-road motorcycles and all safety
equipment.
